IMPORTANT WEATHER NEWS |
The Fall season is upon us and the weather is also changing. This means players need to dress ‘up’ for practice/games and especially post-practice/games. Be sure to send the players to training dressed appropriately (additional sweatshirt/pants to warm up in and a dry one for changing into after practice. Players should also have something warm to change into after practice. Please also be punctual for pick up/collection. Any player who is left to wait for long periods of time after practice will be made to run and stay warm until their ride has appeared. (please call us if you intend to be late). |

Check the field reservation hotline for field closure. DO NOT determine that practice will be cancelled based on the city field hotline- (650) 329 2697 (press 1), there is plenty of work to do when the fields are closed. ‘Closed fields’ does not mean ‘cancelled practice’- ‘closed fields’ means ‘wet field- unusable”. We may practice on the blacktop surfaces which means we won’t cancel unless stated by Union F.C. Finally, always bring ‘flats’ (these are tennis shoes or indoor shoes) to the field when it is raining or has been raining as well as a plastic/waterproof bag. |
