The players and coaches have worked very hard over the past 3 years to improve and have shown great commitment in order to enjoy their continued success. It wasn’t long ago that opponents outscored them or they lost and tied many of their games, rarely leaving their own half against the more athletic players even in Class 3! We knew it was a matter of time before their commitment and coaching would pay dividends. The players have been taught the game well and have diligently applied what they have learned, often having opportunities to play other positions on the field as the coaches were able to play players in their 'weaker' positions to allow the players to gain a better understanding of the game.

Getting the little things right, through excellent punctuality, proper diet, high attendance rates, commitment to games and practice, following the dress code and simply trusting their coaches leadership as well as some strong additions, success is now occurring. The team often dominates games through improved tactical understanding, technical application and dramatically improved physical fitness, improved focus and team discipline. More than 50% of the team participate in additional small group trainings throughout the season to improve their individual game.

This team and its members are a good example to other teams and epitomize our player development philosophy. 50% remain from the original group of players from Class 3 and AYSO still remain, with the addition of players from mostly lower level Class 3 teams and several AYSO players with 1-2 from older Class 3 teams. The team is also comprised of players playing 1 and 3 years 'up'.

In other words, the teams and its players are playing at the highest levels in the State but came from humble beginnings. The players and coaches havent forget this and are proud of their achievments.

Soccer can be taught and these girls are showing this. This improvement hasn’t happened as a result of luck. A strong program and year round (including and especially Winter training-what we are seeing now is a result of last Winter's training, a whole year on) training has helped them improve to where they are now. Exciting times lie ahead.
