Many children are limited to playing competitive soccer because of the costs associated with coaching fees and travel expenses. Each year, UFC sponsor’s approximately $10,000 in scholarships to families for coaching fees, club fees, referee fees, USCS fees and equipment, entirely subsidized by the club. Union F.C has never turned down a scholarship request, despite this being a large burden for the club to support. To support a player please send a letter stating the name of the player or request that UFC select a player if you don't know any of our players personally. If you would like to donate an amount to support one of our players who are financially challenged, please mail a check to:

If you wish to make a partial payment of $20, $50 or $100 rather than scholarship a player entirely, we certainly will accept your generous donation. Recently one of our coaches ran a practice session for 2 friends of his who had been trained by him for some years. Walter Kortschak of Summit Ventures and Gavin Turner of Mainsail Partners donated the 1.5 hour Small Group session fee of $240 to Union FC. Instead of keeping it himself, the coach requested that they donate their fees to Union FC to contribute to the clubs’ scholarship fund. We invite any potential sponsor to match his contribution of time/money or ask if any of our coaches are available to run similar private sessions for your family or friends.
