Nor Cal Premier Announces Region 2 Spring League

Hello District II Soccer Clubs,

We are pleased to announce the Norcal Premier Regional Developmental Spring League for U7,8 & 9 teams and 10. Region II encompasses the area from Burlingame to Santa Cruz but divisions will be created in the North and South to limit the amount of travel for these youngster and their families.

Two basic aims of Norcal Premier Regional Developmental Leagues:
1. To assist Soccer Clubs in developing a club controlled, locally organized and managed, soccer structure for players, coaches and teams.

2. To limit the need for travel for younger teams while providing teams appropriate competition, and using US Club Soccer passes to facilitate player development.

We believe the primary focus of a successful soccer program will be the individual player and their families.

We believe a primary focus of soccer coaches, teams and clubs will be the development of children as people first and players second.

We believe individual player development will be a clubs primary focus and team success a secondary but important goal.

We believe soccer is a kick in the grass, a blast, loads of fun, the cats meow, the bee's knees, and the world's favorite pastime and should be played, watched, enjoyed and read about daily.

The aim of the developmental leagues is to allow teams to compete in a local league, using US Club Player Passes, with rules developed by the local directors of coaching. Join us for the 2008 Spring Season!
